This Celeste fig tree is just about one year old. It produced the fig I enjoyed the most so far, with a remarkably sweet, sugary flavor despite its small size. Celeste is known for its rain resistance, early ripening, and closed eye, which helps prevent spoilage from insects and moisture. I’m looking forward to tasting its fruit again this season.
