Italian 258

April 10th 2025 update.

This tree is one year old and another one I picked up on eBay. It’s known as one of the tastiest figs out there, but it also has a reputation for splitting easily in rainy and humid conditions. It probably won’t do well in my climate—but here’s hoping I get at least one good fig, just so I can say I’ve tasted it. No Figlets yet.

The Italian 258 fig tree is looking pretty healthy and has a respectable amount of figs forming.
